Hey, what's that bird?
Join Ranger Amy to view the park's native freshwater and forest birds.
We'll begin with a short talk about what birds to expect, then we'll hike through the forest to the observation bridge observing and listening as we go.
Where to meet: Meet at the Walnut Ridge Day Use Unit parking lot just before the small bridge.
What to Bring: Binoculars (some will be provided), field guides, cameras, hats, and water.
This program is appropriate for everyone, but please let young adults know that silence and patience are necessary to see birds.
