When: Saturday October 8th & 15th promptly at 8:30 pm

Where: Meet at the South Boat Ramp Parking Lot (Follow the arrows)

Learn about scorpions and other night time bugs that glow under black light, you never know what you might see!

We encourage you to bring your own blacklight but the park will have a limited number to hand out.

What to Bring:

  • Blacklight if you have one
  • Bug Spray

  • Not suitable for pets**
  • Trained service animals welcome

*If you are allergic to bees you may be allergic to scorpion stings. Closed toed shoes are required for this hike for your protection. This especially includes children.

**This event is not suitable for pets as we are looking for small insects in the dark that have the ability to sting or bite. If you still choose to bring a pet it must remain on a leash shorter than 6ft at all times, you must pick up after your pet, and it must be friendly with people and animals and good with large crowds.
