Learn to forage, dry, and roast some of the native plants found here at Mission Tejas.

- For those without plant allergies who wish to, we can even taste some prepared by our Interpretive Ranger!

- The history of these drinks and the groups who harvested and utilized them will be up for discussion.

- Offerings will include Yaupon leaf tea, American Holly leaf tea, Pine straw tea, and blackberry leaf tea.

Bring water if you wish, appropriate clothing and footwear for the outdoors, and an open mind and palette!
