Celebrate National Trails Day at our park! Take on our challenge to travel all of our trails over the weekend.

Try and complete our challenge in one day, or over the course of several days. For each trail you complete, get a stamp on your Trail Pass at the Education Center or Headquarters. The total trails system is 17.34 miles. 

If you complete all of the trails we'll add your name to our Champions Board. You will also gain a special prize! Join us for guided hikes throughout the day, or hike on your own.

Friday, June 2nd

9am-12pm Education Center Open

1-3pm Education Center Open

3pm Forest Trail - meet at trail entrance by Headquarters in the Hen House Unit.

Saturday, June 3rd

9am Island Trail - meet at the Walnut Slough Day Use Area, Walnut Ridge Unit

11am Whitetail Trail - meet at the trail entrance closest to the 500's camping loop, Walnut Ridge Unit

9am-12pm Education Center Open

1pm-3pm Education Center Open

Cost: This event is free with the purchase of a $4 day pass or a Texas State Park Pass.
