Join Ranger Amy to learn how to watercolor nature scenes. Then head outside (depending on the weather) for a chance to watercolor your own Martin Dies, Jr. State Park painting.

When: Thursday, December 9th, 10 am - 12 pm.
Where: Martin Dies, Jr. State Park Education Center/Nature Center on Walnut Ridge unit.
What to know: Part of this program will be indoors, and if the weather is pleasant we'll head outside to paint. Bring your own blanket to sit on or folding chairs. If necessary bring sun protection and bug spray.
Cost: The program is free, but if you plan on staying int he park after the program then you must obtain a park entry permit. Entrance fees are paid at Park Headquarters and are $4 per person over the age of 13, children 12 and under are free. Bring your Texas state park pass to waive entry fees. If you bring exact cash you can fill out a self-pay envelope at the nature center.
