Explore what makes an insect unique. Use our insect nets to kindly catch insects to observe them up close. 

When: 3:30pm

Where: Meet at Walnut Slough Day Use Area in the Walnut Ridge Unit.

Cost: Entrance to the park requires the purchase of a $4 day pass or a Texas State Park Pass. Children 12 and under are free.

Reminder: There are no restrooms near the day use area so plan accordingly. This program is weather dependent and may be canceled if conditions are unfavorable.
