Investigate the fascinating lichens that grow all throughout the park!

What is a lichen? How does it grow? We’ll investigate all about this interesting organism to discover more about it!

This program is suitable for all ages and includes indoor and outdoor settings. 

When: 10am

Where: Meet at the Education Center in the Walnut Ridge Unit

Cost: Entrance to the park requires the purchase of a $4 day pass or a Texas State Park Pass. Children 12 and under are free.

Youth participants must be accompanied by an adult.
