Description:

Admire the stars in your park’s dark sky and hear the stories they share!

Join us in the wide-open pocket pasture to see how brilliant the stars are MTSP!

- After a short night hike, set up a chair and hear what stories the stars hold.

- Spot some of the more prominent constellations and discover the tales they tell us with their distant light.

Meet: At the Mission.

Difficulty: This hike is considered easy, at well under a mile on mostly flat ground.

Duration: The program takes up to an hour, depending on pace and questions.

What to Bring: Water, bug spray, appropriate clothing + footwear for the outdoors, and a folding chair or blanket!

This event is dependent on weather, we’ll switch to a nocturnal hike if the clouds don’t cooperate!

***Attendance to this event is open to the public and free AFTER regular day use or camping fees. Visitors arriving after office hours will need to use the self-pay station!***
