Flood your pages with color and enhance your sketches with watercolor.

Explore basic watercolor techniques to enrich your nature journal’s pages. Adding color to our sketches helps with later identification. It also brings new creativity to your journal. You can bring your own nature journal or use a piece of paper from us.

Participants of all ages are welcome to attend. This program is best suited for those who can sit and paint for 10+ minutes at a time. This program may include indoor or outdoor activities.

When: 3pm

Where: Meet at the Education Center in the Walnut Ridge Unit

Bring: Your own nature journal, bag chair

Cost: Entrance to the park requires the purchase of a $4 day pass or a Texas State Park Pass. Children 12 and under are free.

Youth participants must be accompanied by an adult.
