Ellen Trout Park is one of Lufkin's premier park facilities.  It has has one of the country's finest small city zoos, a miniature train, a beautiful lake stocked for fishing, and modern playground equipment.  The park abounds with wildlife complimenting the zoo.  There are lots of picnic areas well suited for family and organization activities.
