Join us to make fish prints!
Come by the nature center to learn the Japanese art of Gyotaku, otherwise known as fish prints. This is fun for kids of all ages. You can be serious and paint the fish realistic or fun creative colors. When you leave take your fish painting with you as evidence of the fish you "caught" while camping at Martin Dies, Jr. State Park.
*The nature center cannot accommodate large groups. There may be a wait time if all seats are initially taken.
Park fees apply, $4 for adults, kids 12 and under play for free.
There is no fee for attending this program; however, payment of park entrance fees is required. Entrance fees are paid at Park Headquarters or the self-pay stations and are $4 per person over the age of 13, children 12 and under are free.
