Join Ranger Amy to go over the basics of watercolor painting, then you can paint your own park scene to take home.

What to Expect: Expect to learn the basics of watercolor and to patiently sit outside sketching and painting a nature scene. This is not a class for children only. This watercolor program is meant for the whole family, young adults, and adults to enjoy. 

Where to Meet: Meet at the Hen House Ridge Day-Use area, near the swim area.

What to Bring: Watercolor supplies will be provided, but please bring your own folding chair and bug spray. If you want to bring your own nature journal/sketchbook feel free to do that.

There is no fee for attending this program; however, payment of park entrance fees are required. Entrance fees are paid at Park Headquarters or the self-pay stations and are $4 per person over the age of 13, children 12 and under are free.
