Learn all about the Monarch butterflies' migration. CLASS FULL.
Bring your homeschool group into the park to learn about the Migration of the Monarch Butterfly. We'll play an interactive migration game that will allow us to go through the full lifespan and migration of a Monarch butterfly. If Ranger Amy has caught any Monarch butterflies we will talk about the importance of citizen science, tag and release them.

When: Thursday, October 14th 10 am - 12 pm.
Where: Martin Dies, Jr. State Park Education Center/Nature Center on Walnut Ridge Unit.
Cost: The program is free, but if you plan on staying in the park after the program then you must obtain a park entry permit. Entrance fees are paid at Park Headquarters and are $4 per person over the age of 13, children 12 and under are free. Bring your Texas state park pass to waive entry fees. If you bring exact cash you can fill out a self-pay envelope at the nature center.
